Responsibilities:
- Inspect parts according to work instructions, to meet customer requirements.
- Ensure no defective parts are shipped to the customer
- Ensure only defective parts are rejected.
- Ensuring that no defective product is shipped
- Ensuring timely product availability
- Submitting suggestions for improvements
- Follow safety protocol including wearing proper PPE
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of the product following work instructions as provided.
- Enter inspection results in the applicable database.
- Maintain cleanliness of area.
- Notify the supervisor immediately of any possibility of customer requirements not being met.
- Work with all departments to ensure the Quality of products and shipping requirements.
- Support continuous improvement projects as necessary.
- Provide feedback to Operations on product quality in a timely manner to allow reaction as necessary on specific product quality concerns.
- All other responsibilities as specified.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years in quality assurance/control, with familiarity in manufacturing or production environments.
- Proficient with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers), blueprints, and quality management software.
- Strong understanding of quality standards, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing processes.
- Detail-oriented, problem-solving, strong communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand, lift, and have good visual acuity for detecting defects.
- Ability to work flexible hours and possible overtime.
Pay: $16/hr
