Job Description
The Team:
The Invesco Real Estate North America Product Management team works as an extension of the Portfolio Management and Client Portfolio Management teams and is responsible for encouraging connectivity and communication between these groups. Fund structure, fund launch, and fundraising are the three main pillars of our day-to-day responsibilities.
** Note: This team will be in the office 4 days a week **
Your Role:
This role’s primary function is to support the Head of North America Product Management and work closely with a Senior Associate on product strategy, management, and development for two institutional product lines: Invesco Core Real Estate (“ICRE”) and Invesco’s High Return Fund Series. The individual will be responsible for coordinating the ongoing fundraising and marketing pipeline for these products in addition to completing client/consultant requested RFIs, DDQs, and RFPs.
You will be responsible for:
Work with the Head of North America Product Management and Senior Associate in a product management and development function.
Support Client Portfolio Management (“CPM”) team and IVZ distribution team to coordinate client/prospect outreach and material preparation for client pitches, presentations, and due diligence meetings.
Assist with the completion of client/consultant requested RFIs, DDQs, RFPs, as well as ad hoc requests.
Assist with creation, execution, and ongoing monitoring of capital raising plan.
Collaborate with the Portfolio Management and Presentations teams to update marketing collateral for the Funds on a monthly/quarterly basis.
Maintain prospect/investor information and marketing plan in order to set objectives and timelines.
Conduct competitive analyses in the real estate industry, researching competitor funds and strategies via databases including Preqin, eVestments, and With Intelligence
Communicate effectively across different groups including, but not limited to Portfolio Management, Client Portfolio Management, Legal, Research, Performance, etc. to ensure a successful fund.
The experience you bring:
At least 1-3 years of relevant work experience
Real Estate background is preferred
Proactive self-starter mentality
Exhibit eagerness to learn and grow
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts.
Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Detail-oriented.
Must work well both independently, and as a team member, and be able to manage time under tight deadlines.
Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location. The salary range for this position in New York City is $75,000 to $85,000 annually.
