Endoscopy Technician Position Highlights: Position: Endoscopy Technician Hourly Pay Range: $17.25 - $30.00. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Location: Northwest Community Hospital – Arlington Heights, IL. Part Time : Per Diem Hours: Monday – Friday (7am – 5:00pm),Rotating Saturday Required Travel: Travel to other locations may be required. General Summary: Reporting to the Endoscopy Manager, provides equipment, specimen handling, and other technical support to assist the physicians in performing general endoscopy procedures. Responsible for room set up prior to procedures and clean up following procedures. The Endoscopy Technician I works under the direction and supervision of the MD or RN. What you will need: Education: The level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of four years of High School. Certification: CNA, EMT, MA or Surgical Tech or current enrollment in an accredited Nursing Program preferred. Current CPR certification required. Experience: Minimum of six months experience working in a patient care setting required.
