Position Highlights: Position: MRI Technologist II Hourly Pay Range: $32.00- $54.79. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $35.35 base pay hourly rate beginning with May 2025 paychecks. Location: Arlington Heights, IL Per Diem - 0 hours Hours: Rotating Weekdays & Weekends, 7:00am - 3:30pm Required Travel: No A Brief Overview: As an MRI Technologist II you will play a critical role in performing high-quality MRI scans and ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients. You will work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to obtain accurate images for diagnosis and treatment planning. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, patient care skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. What you will do: Perform a wide range of MRI procedures using advanced imaging equipment to capture detailed images of patients' anatomy and pathology. Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patients are comfortable and relaxed during examinations. Follow strict safety protocols to minimize risks associated with MRI procedures, including proper screening for contraindications, administering contrast agents when necessary, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal performance of MRI machines. Monitor and optimize image quality by adjusting imaging parameters and ensuring accurate positioning of patients. Maintain accurate and complete records of patient information, procedure details, and image data in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret images, provide input on patient care plans, and assist in clinical decision-making. Stay up-to-date with advancements in MRI technology, safety protocols, and clinical best practices through ongoing education and training. What you will need: Associates Degree Radiologic Technology Required 2 Years experience as an MRI Technologist Level 1 or equivalent required.
