Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated laborer to assist the FTTH Drop Plow Operator in the installation of service cables from residences to pedestals or road rights-of-way. This role involves physical labor, working outdoors in various conditions, and supporting equipment operation to ensure smooth installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Drop Plow Operator with daily tasks and equipment operation.
- Handle and guide fiber/cable during the installation process.
- Perform site preparation and cleanup.
- Help with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Manually bury drops as needed or place temporary service lines on the ground.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction, telecom, or underground utilities is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying outdoor conditions.
- A safety-conscious and detail-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from the operator.
