Position Highlights: Position: Phlebotomist I Hourly Pay Range: $17.00 - $27.32. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $18.84 base pay hourly rate beginning with May 2025 paychecks Location: Swedish Hospital Full Time/Part Time: Full Time Hours: Monday-Friday, 11pm-7:30am, e/o weekend and rotating holidays What you will do: Perform a variety of routine and special phlebotomy procedures as authorized by the Manager/Director Responsible for ordering tests into the Laboratory and Hospital computer systems and documenting Lab receipt of specimens Collect patient specimens in accordance with test requirements and in a manner which is appropriate for the age and/or specific patient population served Collect blood samples for specific tests ensuring volume is adequate and correct tubes are utilized What you will need: License: N/A Education: High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experience Certification: CPR-BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider required and PBT (ASCP) certification preferred Experience: Phlebotomy training experience strongly preferred Skills: Good communication and organization skills, moderate computer skills needed, reliable transportation to travel between sites required, strong customer service skills.
