1330 Dental Associates is looking to hire a Dental Assistant! This position is for full-time.

1330 Dental is looking for a full-time assistant to join our team. Experience and X-ray certification is a must. We are a friendly, busy office focused on patient care and providing a positive, upbeat dental experience. It is necessary to be flexible and willing to be a part of a team. One who is excited to learn and grow with 1330 Dental. Our office is in the process of updating/upgrading and we have a 2-year goal for a full remodel! We are looking forward to integrating more technology advanced equipment for our staff and patients!
We are looking for an organized, hard-working individual who loves people and would work well in a busy, fast-paced general dental practice. We are looking for someone who is upbeat, patient, positive and well-organized. Someone who is task focused and able to adapt to patient appointment changes.
The general schedule would be Monday - Thursday: 7:45 AM to 5:00PM, this includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch break, and Fridays: 7:45AM to 12:00pm. There are occasional exceptions to see emergency patients.
Job description includes:
- seating patients and ensuring patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
- Sterilize dental instruments properly
- Ensuring cross-infection control/OSHA compliance of the practice
-Setting up and assisting for general dentistry
- Digital dental radiography using Dexis software
- Assisting chair-side
- Charting existing and needed treatment into the computer
- Assisting with patients completing medical histories
- Taking impressions/scans
- Assisting with lab tasks as needed
-Tracking lab cases
-Patient phone calls and treatment plan monitoring
-Adding supplies as needed to the order
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous experience as a dental assistant is required
- Ability to use X-ray equipment (X-ray Certified)
- Ability to perform dental charting; ability to interpret dental records, and ability to use/learn dental computer programs.
