Are you a goal-oriented professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for Legal & Compliance matters?
We are looking for a talented Head of Know Your Customer (KYC) to join our team at Satair, reporting to our global Legal & Compliance organisation.
We are working with National, European and US export control laws, sanctions & embargoes as well as Airbus directives to ensure that our export business stays compliant and in line with regulations.
What the job is :
As part of Legal & Compliance and in cooperation with your peers in our global export control team and the business functions you and your team support business operations to ensure compliant
and timely delivery to our customers.
Your key responsibilities :
Lead a global team of 6 Know Your Customer (KYC) Specialists - located in Copenhagen, Singapore and Herndon (USA)
Drive process and efficiency initiatives including IT and automation of processes
Ensure that the team is supporting the business in accordance with agreed KPI’s
Develop a close working relationship with the global export control network in Airbus
Analyse and validate Customer End Use Statements
Analyse and approve Customers for Export Control and KYC compliance and RISK evaluation
Other responsibilities include working with the business to ensure high export control standards and awareness training as well as the development of business processes. Your responsibility includes the analysis of orders, deliveries & customer profiles to proactively guide the business on best practice and optimization of order flows, audit support, reporting to HO Legal & Compliance.
Preferred Skills and qualifications :
Leadership experience - minimum 1 to 3 years
Fluent in English, both verbal and written (mandatory)
Knowledge of US and EU export control laws, sanctions & embargoes
Knowledge of National export control laws
Experience in Compliance KYC screening of customers
Familiar with operations and customer support
Analytical and detail oriented
Well structured
