Job Description
As an Engineer, Field Applications (Intern), you will be placed in a developmental program that offers real-world experience learning about ADI’s technologies, customer support, and opportunity generation. During the program, you will receive professional development opportunities and mentorship - providing an excellent foundation for technical expertise and soft skills growth.
A sampling of some of the skills you will develop:
Circuit analysis, debug, and design
Systems thinking and analysis
Proposing technical solutions for both circuit-level and system-level challenges
Prototype development including hardware and software
Developing and maintaining professional relationships – both internal and external
Educating others about ADI’s solutions through technical presentations and demonstrations
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Assisting in the evaluation and design of customer systems – hardware and software
Troubleshooting customer hardware and software/firmware performance issues
Understanding and disseminating customer system requirements and market trends
Contributing to internal product development strategy and product definitions
Cultivating relationships and influence with ADI’s engineering, marketing, and sales teams
Qualifications
BSEE or equivalent in-progress
Basic understanding of electronic schematics, layout, and components required
Experience with electronics lab measurement and soldering equipment
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
Self-motivation and capability to work autonomously
Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task and set priorities
Solid communication skills and comfort presenting technical topics
Agility and desire for continuous learning
