We are offering a $1000 Sign-On Bonus to eligible candidates!
Position: Dental Assistant
Department: Prosthodontics
Hours: 36 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Locations: Downtown Dental Specialties, La Crosse
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the prosthodontist during examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area and dental instruments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and prosthetic care
- Manage patient records and appointments
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning)
- Previous experience in a dental setting, particularly in prosthodontics, is a preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in electronic patient records (example Epic) is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
