Our Waukon Family Medicine department is currently hiring a .6 (48 hours bi-weekly) Medical Assistant to join the team. What's Available: .6 FTE - 48 hours bi-weekly Monday - Friday, Day shifts - 6 shifts in a two week pay period. No set schedule and specific hours can be discussed in interview. No weekend or holiday hours required This position is based in Waukon but would include travel to Decorah, Calmar & Lansing clinics What you will do: Provide LOVE MEDICINE to our patients by greeting them with a warm and welcoming smile and setting the tone for their appointments Provide patient care for our family medicine department Update patient information in charting systems Take vitals Get hands on experience working on procedures with nurses and providers Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals, and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys. What you need: Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN Or High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers What you will get: Starting pay of $19.01 hour more for experience!
