Gundersen Health System is seeking a Software Engineer - Front End Developer to play a vital role in building the user interfaces for our healthcare applications. You'll work closely with designers, backend engineers, and cross-functional teams to bring our visions to life.
What's Available:
Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday days
Location: Onsite in Onalaska, Wisconsin; Role has ability to shift to a remote basis but is limited to only residents of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa
Immigration sponsorship (e.g., H-1B) is not available for this position.
We have the ability to fill this opportunity as a Software Engineer or Senior level Software engineer depending on your relevant work experience
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and education
5 years of relevant work experience
Solid understanding of automated testing tools and practices
Experience in Tech Stack
Strong Problem Solving Skills
Ability to work well amongst a team
Willingness and desire to learn new tech and grow
An Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience With:
JavaScript using React, Web Components or similar front end web frameworks
API backends using REST or GraphQL
Content Management Systems like Drupal or Wordpress
Ability to work with stakeholders (Web & Digital)
Familiar with Agile and/or Scrum framework
Experience with CI/CD Systems, Azure DevOps, Github Actions, Jenkins
Strong preference for candidates with testing experience (Jest, playwright, Pytest, Junit, etc.)
