Overview:
15 lightyears is looking for a full-time Commercial Solar Installer (Entry Level) to join our team! As a Solar Installer, your responsibilities are to assemble, install, or maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics. Our Solar Installers are a vital part of our organization and we take pride in hiring and training the best.
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Job is performed in several counties across Orlando, Florida. (Candidate must be located around the Longwood, FL or surrounding cities)
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm and optional Saturdays as needed. Potential for overtime is available.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $18/hour

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must Have Experience in at least 1 of these areas: Construction, Carpentry, Electrical, or Maintenance.
- Commitment to performing high quality work.
- Ability to work well with smartphone apps and tablets.
- Excellent respect and communication skills towards customers and crew members.
- Must be comfortable climbing ladders, working on rooftops, stairs, and regularly lifting heavy objects.
- Experience using basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in reasonable weather conditions.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with safe and responsible driving record.
- All Crew members must be able to pass drug tests and background checks.
