What are the responsibilities and job description for the Energy Efficiency Technician - New Construction position at 15 Lightyears?
Our team is seeking a Field Energy Technician to join our award-winning team full-time! Conduct and record various home energy tests and inspections that will qualify homes for certification and code compliance. On the Job Training is Available!
Location: Sarasota / Bradenton, FL (and surrounding Cities)

Qualifications:
- Must live in/near Sarasota / Bradenton area
- Some experience with construction, maintenance, or technician role (Strongly Preferred)
- Proficiency utilizing hand tools safely and effectively
- Ability to work effectively on-site meeting goals
- Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with safe and responsible driving record
- Must be able to pass drug test and background check
