Job Summary PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION: The primary role of the Emergency Department Physician Assistant will be to provide direct care management of Emergency Department (ED) patients in collaboration with the ED attending physician(s) and other members of a multidisciplinary ED team. This position is specifically to improve care for patients being evaluated and treated in the ED. DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY: As a Physician Assistant, you are delegated the authority, responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
