Job Description:
Airbus US Manufacturing Facility A220 is looking for an Aircraft Cabins/Interiors Installer to join our Manufacturing Department based in Mobile, AL.
The Aircraft Cabins/Interiors Installer is a critical part of the aircraft assembly process. The position requires previous knowledge of aircraft cabins assembly and skill to complete the allocated tasks on Quality and On time. To be successful within this role, the Aircraft Cabins/Interiors Installer must possess a high level of integrity, the ability to communicate clearly, and be flexible to work across three shifts. The Aircraft Cabins/Interiors Installer must be able to work alone and as part of a team in a high pressure environment to enable the delivery of a High Quality Aircraft and On Time Delivery to internal customers (TAKT).

Your working environment:
Nearby on ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus’ strategy to improve its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.
Your challenges:
Understand the Qualification process and be a PV (Production Verification) stamp holder within the first 12 months on Station.
Understand the build process and specifications within your allocated Cabins Station.
Coordination with other team members to ensure delivery schedule is met.
Work in compliance with production work orders and supporting documents. (e.g. Quality standards, drawings and SOI’s)
Step in for Team Leader to drive the team to the plan.
Understand Work Content tracker (SLB) and work allocation process.
Use of Andon tool for issues which require support.
Communicate with MFT support members when support is required.
Your boarding pass:
2 years minimum experience in Aviation Production or equivalent required
High School Diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of training/experience
