Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for an A320 Quality Documentation Specialist based in Mobile, AL
The Quality Documentation Specialist is responsible for collecting and managing all Aircraft build data/documentation for a specific Station or Manufacturing area. The Documentation Specialist will raise issues with any gaps in documentation and analyze for conformity.

Nearby on ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Your challenges:
Perform aircraft documentation consolidation activities enduring documented status is up to date and the “As-Built” status is in line with the “Target Definition”.
Work with Production Teams to ensure that the Documentation is completed as required and in line with process requirements.
Documentation includes Aircraft build documents generated from the Manufacturing area received from supply chain and major component manufacturers.
Work with the Aircraft Attestation Leader and confirm the as-built status via documented condition matches with the target definition in preparation for major Aircraft Milestones.
Work on the Aircraft build status to ensure documented (paperwork system) matches the as-built status.
Ensure and Attest Traceability of documentation pertaining to build status of the Aircraft.
Work with the Operations teams to resolve gaps.
Provide clear status on the documented condition in preparation for Major Milestones.
Ensure accurate reporting of documentation gaps to Operations and Quality Teams.
Support the extended Plant and Supplier teams by coordinating the documentation and system re-alignment based on outstanding-work and rework resolution.
Work with the Attestation Leader to identify and resolve discrepancies in the Aircraft status.
Identify and ensure accurate reporting on risks and gaps which have appeared in the rework and out-standing work resolution.
Attend status meetings and be able and willing to present the documentation status.
Check the conformity status of all Constituent Assemblies (CA) integrated in the aircraft - via documentation check.

Collect, review and file documentation relevant to support the build and sell of aircraft.
Compile, analyze and present the Aircraft Inspection Report and associated documentation, on time and on quality, at milestones of aircraft build.
Archive the necessary documentation.
Archive the necessary build documents from the assembly and aircraft build process in-line with the Airbus process requirements.

Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Able to read, write and speak English proficiently.
Must possess the motivation to learn and be open to feedback.
Preferred:
Professional education or a technician's or engineering diploma (or equivalent experience) is preferred
Education reflects technical competence from a technical school or college program equivalent to 2-4 years, specializing in aviation technology or an equivalent amount of education and work experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions Hearing: able to hear sufficiently to engage in conversation in office settings. Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals.
- Speaking: able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification.
- Equipment Operation: Able to operate a wide range of personal and office electronic equipment. Working on jigs at the fuselage at a height of 15 feet. Able to work on hydraulic lifts sometimes at a height of up to 40 feet.
- Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 55lbs/25kg while engaging in training, addressing production issues or as part of continuous improvement projects.
- Lifting: able to occasionally lift up to 55lbs/25kg.
- Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas.
- Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time at the computer and in meetings. Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves.
- Standing: able to stand for extended perios of time.
