JOB POSTING
TITLE: Customer Acceptance and Delivery Engineer
EMPLOYER: Airbus Americas, Inc.
DUTIES: Managing the risks (technical, industrial, certification, definition, planning, and contractual aspects) to protect the deliveries and standing as Airbus single voice for the Customer pre-FAL to Ferry Flight. Facilitating and protecting the application of the recommendations and decisions made on behalf of the MFT, considering Customers expectations while protecting Airbus interests. Negotiating the acceptance of complex technical items, which can threaten the delivery milestones. Identifying significant deviations that could jeopardize the FAL milestones & delivery. Managing the Feedback Loop together with the Aircraft Quality Customer Manager and Customer Support Director.
LOCATION: Mobile, AL
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, or related field and 5 years in any job title involving experience in a technical aviation capacity in the aeronautical industry. Prior experience must also include: Working experience with structure, systems, avionics, and cabin; Working experience in management and industrial aircraft processes; Working experience managing multi-functional teams; and Experience negotiating in aircraft manufacturing with internal and external customers. Up to 15% domestic and international travel required for training and business meetings.
SALARY: $ 117,166.00 per year
