Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions on Amazon Web Services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS services, best practices, and security protocols, ensuring scalable, high-performing, and cost-effective cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on AWS best practices
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD processes, Jenkins knowledge is a plus
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
• Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and provide solutions
• Stay up to date with the latest AWS services and industry trends
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS solutions
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, and IAM
• Expertise in security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance frameworks
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communications skills, documentation skills, and a “can do” approach to challenges
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) or other AWS certifications
• Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven applications
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus)
• Experience with hybrid cloud solutions and multi-cloud strategies
