About the Role
160 Driving Academy is seeking a reliable and experienced individual to join our team as a Test Truck Runner. In this role, you will be responsible for driving our test truck to the Department of Vehicle Services (DVS) for students to complete their CDL tests. While at the test site, you will assist students with check-in, address any last-minute questions, and provide support to ensure a smooth testing experience. After each test, you will report the results to the school.
We are looking for someone who is available Monday through Friday, with start and end times varying based on testing schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the test truck to ensure safety and compliance.
- Verify that all necessary documentation is in the truck before departing.
- Assist students with check-in and ensure they feel confident by answering any last-minute questions.
- Review pre-trip inspection procedures, driving skills, and DVS expectations with students prior to testing.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Possess a valid Class A CDL license.
- Hold a current D.O.T. medical card.
- Ability to pass a urine drug screen.
- Maintain a clean motor vehicle record.
- Have at least two years of driving experience.
