Tell me more about this role, what would I be doing?

POSITION SUMMARY:

Issue, maintain and renew Mortgage Guard policies (fire, liability and flood) and all applicable forms within the guidelines of state regulations and carrier requirements.  Update all policy information in ESS, PMSys and SentryFile, in accordance with the innerworkings of the policy information as it directly relates to the client/department/billing/tax data.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma, college work preferred.  Previous customer service experience.  Personal Computer proficiency including Windows, Word and Excel.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Policy Issuance

Verify policy information from ESS to PMSys, including rates, commissions, taxes and endorsements.  Work within PMSys to create policies and associated correspondence, affidavits, and distribute as necessary.

Policy maintenance (renewals, non-renewals, changes)

Enter renewal/non-renewal/change information into system.  Verify coverages, endorsements, rates and commission structures.  Follow policy issuance process.

Affidavits & Countersignatures

Issue surplus lines affidavits to agents/insureds for signature.  Pend, track, retrieve and forward to appropriate affidavit filer within applicable state mandated timeframe.  Forward policies requiring countersignature to agent/filer for signature.  Pend, track, retrieve and forward to insured/carrier.

Documentation

Document all information pertinent to a policy in the AS/400 notepad system (policy specific), and in the correspondence file stored with the policy in SentryFile.

Support

Miscellaneous related projects/duties assigned by department manager.

Quality Control

Perform Quality Control reviews. Participate in audits.

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including skills, experience, work location and more.  We offer competitive pay while still allowing for compensation growth within the position and company.
