167 Hospitality Group is seeking a Chef De Partie for a full service restaurant in Downtown Charleston, SC.
167’s restaurants offer unique opportunities to work with high quality seafood, seasonal ingredients, and obscure products. Our kitchen settings are all different, and we pair cooks with the kitchen for the best fit and encourage creativity and growth.
167 Hospitality is seeking experienced line cook to be familiar with kitchen stations, including garde manger, sauté, grill, and fry. Ability to work in a team environment, is required. This is a leadership position, which will be overseeing the team's skills and quality of work. Proper communication to the team on improvements and corrective actions for the kitchen is imperative in this position. The ability to employee manage and communicate is heavily expected. Management experience is required.
The Chef De Partie will be working prep shifts as well as service on the line and in the expo.

This is an hourly paid position with overtime compensation.
Restaurants are open for Lunch & Dinner
Monday - Saturday, closed on Sundays
Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day
Shift Availability
Lunch shift 9:00am - 5:00pm
Dinner shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Job Details
- Oversee staff arrivals, uniforms, and stations
- Set up station for service & prepare mis en place
- Check quality and consistency in food product
- Prepare or expedite tickets
- Communicate with team
- Ensure all stations are clean
- Replenish station items
- Clean kitchen, daily
- Write prep list & order sheets
- Organize prepped items
- Provide input for overall improvements
Requirements
- Working 45 - 55 hours a week, 5 days a week
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year, minimum management experience
- Professional reference and background checks
- Full availability and flexible schedule
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift 50 lbs
