The 16th Judicial District Attorney's Office is seeking an experienced Accounting Administrator. This position is responsible for overseeing and supporting all accounting operations by ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journals, general ledger, cash management, account reconciliations
- Manage payroll processing and benefits administration
- Manage payables and receivables
- Prepare annual budgets and collaborate with auditors during the year-end audit process
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in double entry bookkeeping and accounting software
- Knowledge of accounts payable, receivable and payroll processes
- Familiarity with budgeting and account reconciliation
- BS in Accounting Preferred
- Proven work experience in accounting or a related role
- 5 years of accounting work experience
- Government accounting experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge in MS Excel

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
