Verifies insurance and initiates pre authorization process when required. Collects required payments or makes necessary financial arrangements. Acts as a patient greeter/liaison for all patients and family members upon entry into the patient care environment. Assists and supports radiologists, physicians and imaging technologists with patient flow, communication and report management as needed. Adheres to standards for proper distribution of patient information to meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
