Job Summary :
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team. The Laundry Aide will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within our facility, ensuring that all linens, garments, and uniforms are cleaned, sorted, and delivered to the appropriate departments in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities :
Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment to clean and process laundry items.
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items, including linens, uniforms, and patient garments.
Inspect laundry items for stains, damages, or wear and report any issues as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laundry room and work areas.
Adhere to safety and infection control policies and procedures.
Assist in inventory management and reorder of laundry supplies as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
Follow proper handling procedures for all laundry items and adhere to confidentiality guidelines.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is a plus, but not required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads (up to [insert weight] lbs).
Basic knowledge of laundry chemicals and their safe handling preferred.
