DESCRIPTION
1736 Family Crisis Center offers crisis intervention services, including four 24- hour hotlines, as well as longer-term services in client advocacy and outpatient psychotherapy. The residential counseling and support services include shelter programs for (1) runaway and homeless adolescents, (2) domestic violence and human trafficking victims and their children (emergency and transitional programs (3) Homeless prevention and rapid re-housing services for the general population and Veterans and their families. Community outreach programs are provided to educate the public and prevent mental-health problems in the general population and in targeted groups to at-risk populations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Complete activities to assist department and Director, such as related to 1736 Family Crisis Center
staff clinical training, developing curricula to comply with agency requirements, California legislated
requirements for domestic violence program direct service staff, and California Community Care
Licensing requirements for runaway and homeless youth program direct service staff;
• Includes assisting with coordination of activities related to quality assurance as assigned
• Assist, as assigned, with supervision of students/interns providing clinical services, including providing
weekly supervision to clinicians.
• Provides direct clinical services and counseling to clientele in assigned programs, ensuring each client
is provided complete counseling, advocacy, survival training, education, referral services and other
services as needed
• Provides safety planning and crisis intervention consultation
• Aids in providing community education and outreach related to training to internal as well as outside
agencies to help them develop appropriate tools for assisting domestic violence, human trafficking and
other victims
• Participates in program development and development of outreach materials;
• Works with Center Directors to ensure compliance with programmatic contractual obligations;
• Assist with completion of Program monthly reports, including the collection of monthly statistical data
• Prepares data for clinical monitoring visits
• Gathers research on pertinent topics related to the field
• Participates in the Center's internal and external meetings as necessary, e.g., CAVA;
• Performs other duties as requested by the Director of Programs, Managing Director and Executive
Director/CEO.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Advanced degree in social work, psychology
• Possess a current and active California license that is not under suspension or probation as one of the
following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• 2 years verifiable post degree in field/able to supervise interns
• Demonstrated experience with providing services to varies populations ( domestic violence victims/
runaway and homeless youth desirable)
• Demonstrated training experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Computer; Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
