Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Financial Analyst with expertise in advanced financial modeling, particularly in Excel, as well as strong project management and administrative skills. This role is critical to the development and oversight of financial models for a diverse portfolio of real estate projects, including multifamily residential, hospitality, and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for managing project documentation and data, while collaborating closely with the development team to ensure the smooth execution of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize pro forma financial models for real estate projects, incorporating sensitivity analyses, cash flow projections, and ROI calculations.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making and risk assessment for ongoing and prospective developments.
  • Assist with project management by organizing, tracking, and maintaining comprehensive project data, documentation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the development team to drive deal structuring, procurement of debt and equity capital commitments, financial close, and timely project delivery.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, investment summaries, and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Provide ad hoc operational support as needed to the CEO.

Qualifications :

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data manipulation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail, particularly in managing project workflows and documentation.
  • Experience in project administration and information management, with a focus on real estate or construction-related sectors.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex financial data and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Direct experience in real estate development, construction, or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in project management, customer relationship management, and presentation design software, including platforms such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Juniper Square, Adobe InDesign, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of real estate finance concepts such as underwriting, capital markets, and development financing.
