Position: In-Home Caregiver
Job Description: We are currently seeking dedicated and caring individuals to join our team as in-home caregivers. As a caregiver at 1776 Senior Care, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors by providing assistance with daily activities, offering companionship, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients through conversation, games, and other social activities.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up living spaces.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and recreational activities as needed.
- Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving, preferably with seniors.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
