The classroom liaison is responsible:
- To help each child attain success in the classroom.
- Utilize the Second Step Curriculum to facilitate group activities for children in partnership with their classroom teacher to support social/ emotional growth and competency.
- Help teachers brainstorm ways to help children build on their regulation and coping skills.
- Act as a liaison between care givers, childcare staff and other supportive services.
- Work with collaterals including pediatricians, school system resources, early intervention providers, etc.
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Experience: Two or more years of human service experience, preferred. Experience working with children and families, preferably in a classroom or group care setting preferred. Experience with child development and/or child welfare. LSW eligible preferred.

Pay: $24.88 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
