n for Inside Applications Engineer :
The Inside Applications Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the pre- and post-sales integration of our client’s products into customer products. Acting as a key liaison between our client and its customers, this individual focuses on fostering strong customer relationships while addressing engineering and operational needs requiring advanced support or integration.
In this role, the Inside Applications Engineer works both independently and collaboratively with the Inside Sales, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams. They exercise sound judgment and discretion in resolving customer needs and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Additionally, this individual provides guidance and troubleshooting assistance to junior Inside Applications Engineers, contributing to team development and operational excellence.
Responsibilities for Inside Applications Engineer :
- Engages with sales teams and customers through phone, email, and in-person visits to understand their needs, requirements, and concerns, while offering technical expertise and support throughout the pre- and post-sales process.
- Compiles and maintains detailed reports documenting customer information, including contacts, project details, and status updates, ensuring the sales team is well-informed of evolving customer needs.
- Supports the creation of customer-facing materials such as drawings, BOMs, and other documentation by facilitating the translation of ideas into actionable outputs.
- Contributes to the management of PCNs, RMAs, and the development of web support documentation to enhance customer service.
- Assists in the occasional manufacturing of small parts to meet specific customer requirements.
- Participates in the creation and upkeep of data sheets, MRDs, and project plans to support product and project development.
