n for Manufacturing Engineer :
The Manufacturing Engineering will play a crucial role in optimizing our client’s manufacturing processes, enhancing product quality, and driving operational efficiency for their SMT manual and automated assembly lines. You will coach, train, and mentor other manufacturing team members on lean manufacturing methodologies.
Responsibilities for Manufacturing Engineer :
- Process Improvement : Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste and enhance product quality.
- SMT Line Oversight : Work alongside the manufacturing team to ensure optimal performance and address any technical issues that arise.
- Assembly Optimization : Develop and implement jigs, fixtures and tools to improve manual assembly processes. Incorporate some level of automation where feasible.
- Quality Assurance : Collaborate with quality management to ensure all products meet stringent quality standards and product approval requirements.
- Equipment Calibration & Maintenance : Ensure all manufacturing equipment is properly maintained and operational.
- Project Management : Lead and participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving manufacturing capabilities and introducing new products to manufacturing.
- Data Analysis : Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor production metrics, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
- Training & Development : Provide training and support to production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
