Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee and experiences for our customers.
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will be vital in maintaining the welcoming atmosphere of our establishment while delivering delicious drinks and food items.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations, equipment, and dining spaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices at all times.
- Assist in food preparation and presentation, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Operate POS system efficiently to process customer orders accurately.
- Engage with customers to provide friendly service, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow and support each other in daily tasks.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of barista skills
- Proficiency in basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Experience with Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and café operations is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues alike.

Pay: $13.15 - $13.95 per hour
