1871 seeks a professionally driven, creative, and highly motivated intern to support our Innovation Labs Team.
Time CommitmentThis internship is from June 5 to August 7, 2025, and is virtual with occasional on-site collaboration. Hours and time commitment may be flexible if agreed upon by the supervisor and the internship candidate prior to the start of the internship.
Duties and Responsibilities- Analyze member company growth metrics and program impact data
- Research market trends affecting our startup community
- Support the creation of resources for early-stage entrepreneurs
- Help measure and report on 1871's community engagement
- Assist in documenting success stories and impact metrics
- Draft email communications for Innovation Lab members
- Support calendar management for future events
- Organize program planners to ensure event details are in sync
- Currently enrolled at an accredited university (recent grads will also be considered) with a focus in business, human resources, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Forms, etc.)
- Strong analytical capabilities with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience with data analysis tools (Excel / Google Sheets, SQL basics)
- Ability to create compelling data visualizations
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with a wide range of 1871 community members
- Letters of recommendation from our leadership team.
- College credit (upon school approval).
