Pharmacist Manager, Fulfillment Operations- Express Scripts - Fairfield, OH

This role is worksite dependent at an Express Scripts site. Ideal candidate will reside near Fairfield, OH.

Shift for this role is an 8-hour day shift Monday through Friday 6 am – 2:30 pm.

As a Pharmacy Staff Pharmacist Operations Manager, you will oversee a team of pharmacists and technicians in the pharmacy at Express Scripts.

What you’ll do:

• Provide leadership to the pharmacists and technicians.

• Engage as needed with Account Management, Service Delivery, Corporate Finance or other cross functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and shipment of orders

• Address staff concerns and day to day operational, system, customer service, quality, and professional issues

• Set clear performance expectations with staff, including adherence to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures

• Represents the pharmacy in cross-functional meetings and projects. Prepare for, implement and communicate new corporate initiatives and processes within the pharmacy.

• May facilitate tours for client visits.

What you’ll need:

• RPh. or Pharm D preferred, degree in management or finance or equivalent is an asset

• Current resident pharmacist license in good standing

• Four to six years of experience supervising in a pharmacy

• An advanced understanding of home delivery pharmacy, pharmacy regulations, insurance benefits, and internal processes in order to successfully fulfill expectations of Payers, Pharma, Physicians and Patients is preferred

• Strong computer skills including Outlook and MS office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

• Demonstrated leadership skills including ability to effectively develop, assist, train and coach

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions

• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
