Senior Pharmacist Manager, Fulfillment Operations - Express Scripts - Fairfield, OH

This role is worksite dependent.  Ideal candidate will reside near Fairfield, OH.

Shift for this role is an 8-hour day shift Monday through Friday 8 am -5 pm.

As a Pharmacy Staff Pharmacist Senior Operations Manager, you will oversee a team of pharmacists and technicians in the pharmacy at Express Scripts.

What you’ll do:

• Provide leadership to a cross functional team of supervisors, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and support personnel.

• Engage as needed with
  Senior Leadership Account Management, Service Delivery, Corporate Finance or other cross functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and shipment of orders

• Address staff concerns and day to day operational, system, customer service, quality, and professional issues

• Manage financial budgets and labor forecasts under guidance of the Senior Director of Operations

• Set clear performance expectations with staff, including adherence to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures

• Represents the pharmacy in cross-functional meetings and projects. Prepare for, implement and communicate new corporate initiatives and processes within the pharmacy

• May facilitate tours for client visits

What you’ll need:

• RPh. or Pharm D preferred, degree in management or finance or equivalent is an asset

• Current resident pharmacist license in good standing

• Four to six years of experience supervising in a pharmacy

• An advanced understanding of, pharmacy regulations, insurance benefits, and internal processes in order to successfully fulfill expectations of Payers, Pharma, Physicians and Patients is preferred

• Strong computer skills including Outlook and MS office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

• Demonstrated leadership skills including ability to effectively develop, assist, train and coach

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions

• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
