Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient utilization of company vehicles, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and cost-effective management of fleet operations. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet operations and reduce costs.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle usage to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Manage fleet budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
• Coordinate vehicle acquisitions, disposals, and registrations.
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and other teams to align fleet operations with business needs.
• Develop and enforce policies for driver safety, training, and performance.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet activities and prepare regular reports for management.
• Utilize fleet management software to streamline operations and enhance decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in fleet management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and transportation regulations.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, if applicable).
• Must pass a drug/alcohol test and background check
• Must be Legally authorized to work in the United States

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• The position may require travel to various field locations within Colorado, including remote areas
• Must adhere to safety protocols and always wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be able to commute to Ault, CO daily

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience
