1888 is seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) guidelines, improving safety procedures to minimize risk to employees and company assets, and collaborating with team members to ensure and promote safe work practices and a safe working environment. This position will report to the Director of Safety and be officed in Midland, Colorado.
Requirements:- Conduct field evaluations and audits of safety compliance to ensure safety is maintained as an essential part of day-to-day activities.
- Monitoring and evaluating daily operations and planning procedures to mitigate risks and improve safety regulations.
- Analyze accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns.
- Conduct safety training for all new hires or existing employees who have expired certifications.
- Keep inventory of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Issue new employees PPE upon completion of the training programs.
- Work with the district-level management to support everyday operations.
- Complete audits and inspections to ensure all worksites are HSE compliant with company policies and OSHA.
- Partner with management in conducting accident and incident investigations, determining root causes, and implementing corrective measures.
- Responsible for responding to incidents during non-working hours and alternative weekend callouts.
- Write up safety violations and noncompliance issues for management to follow up.
- Availability for rotating on-call schedule.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- OSHA 10 & 30.
- HAZWOPER 40 Hour preferred.
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Minimum of 3 years of safety-related experience preferably in the oil and gas environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- First Aid/CPR/AED Training Certification Preferred.

Salary: $75,000- $85,000 per year
