Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of coffee preparation, the ability to operate an espresso machine, and a passion for creating a memorable customer experience. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and fostering a friendly environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee and espresso beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, cold brews, and more, with precision and consistency.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment with expertise.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization in the coffee bar area and other customer-facing spaces.
• Educate customers about different coffee options, brewing methods, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain inventory of coffee supplies and assist with ordering.
• Manage cash register transactions and handle customer orders efficiently.
• Ensure a positive and engaging experience for each customer by offering personalized service.
• Assist with training new staff members as needed.
• Follow all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a barista with a strong understanding of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation.
• Familiarity with different coffee beans, roasts, and brewing methods.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in coffee preparation or related areas is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.66 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 16 per week
