As a Senior User Experience Designer at MilliporeSigma you'll be at the front line of innovation and technology, helping to bring ideas from concept to implementation for our ecommerce platform. The Senior User Experience Designer is an analytical problem solver that can synthesize user research and business requirements into intuitive design solutions that deliver a compelling user experience to our customers balanced with an understanding of our business goals. This individual will be responsible for the delvering strategic design and taking a lead role in driving the implementation of projects. Designers work as part of the user experience team in a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Translating business and user requirements into design solutions for end-users and other stakeholdersProposing pragmatic solutions that are consistent with industry best practices and user expectations, while balancing technical, data and schedule constraintsCollecting and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data to make design decisions based on test results and usability standards / best practicesPrototyping applications on paper and within FigmaWorking closely with development teams and product ownersWork co-located with other designers and associatesWho You Are :
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, Information Technology, or other Computer Science disciplineOR
High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of design work experience5 years of experience applying UCD principles5 years of demonstrated experience with UX deliverables3 years of experience designing for responsive web and mobile apps3 years of experience with Adobe products including XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.2 years of experience working with FigmaPreferred Qualifications :
eCommerce expertiseLife Science industry experienceExperience with web development technologiesExperience conducting usability testingProject management experienceExperience utilizing data and having a data driven approachExperience collaborating with UX research
Pay Range for this position - $78,900 - $118,300
Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data.
