Job Title : Software Developers III
Responsibilities :
The Software Developer III will develop instruments, applications, and cloud services that help scientists in universities and research labs perform important biological research. Specific job duties include : (1) Design and implement new software features to assist with existing and upcoming projects; (2) Meet with internal and external scientists to understand their workflows and develop software solutions that meet their needs; (3) Collaborate with other software developers to write software in C (Qt Framework), and Javascript (React); and (4) Help produce both internal and user-facing documentation for software products and applications, including documentation that meets regulatory requirements when applicable. Telecommuting is available.
Job Requirements :
Employer requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and two (2) years of work experience as a software engineer, systems engineer, or a closely related occupation. In addition, employer requires : (1) Demonstrated ability working throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) gained through two (2) years of work experience; (2) Demonstrated ability utilizing object-oriented design principles gained through two (2) years of work experience; (3) Demonstrated ability building and deploying software applications while using JavaScript and React gained through two (2) years of work experience; and (4) Demonstrated ability performing requirements gathering gained through two (2) years of work experience. All years of experience may be gained concurrently.
Salary : One hundred twenty thousand dollars to one hundred thirty thousand dollars per year.
