Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to individuals in their own homes. Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and companionship.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
Experience
- Previous experience in geriatrics or outpatient care is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical-surgical environments or Level I/II Trauma Centers is a plus.
- Experience in pediatric intensive care units (PICU) or hospital medicine can be beneficial.
- Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
- A caring demeanor with a passion for helping others is required.
