Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years Accountant/ Controller experience.

In Office Position- No Opportunities for Remote Work

Salary range ($75,000 - $100,000) is negotiable, but based on applicant’s relative experience.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 10 or more years of corporation accounting experience (inventory basis preferred) and 5 or more years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager/controller
• Experience in preparation and process payroll for 40 employees, including 401k & garnishment payments and sales commission
• Proficient in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office are the must
• Advanced knowledge and skill to Microsoft Excel is strongly required
• Acctivate Inventory and Distribution Management software experience is a big plus
• Must have strong research and the ability of problem solve and self-initiate processes with limited guidance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience of working with senior management
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized and capable of multi-tasking
• Strong working knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable, in order to oversee & manage those team members’ work
  
  

Responsibilities

• Establish (in coordination with CFO) financial and operating benchmarks with focus on streamlining accounting processes
• Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity
• Provides financial information to senior management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information and adjustment by journal entries
• Verification all vendor’s price sheets for accuracy
• Perform multilevel accounting reconciliation between inventory management system and Quickbooks
• Preparation documentation for 401k, workers’ compensation and AR insurance audit
• Conduct major vendor(s) annual accounting audit
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Perform insurance claims, if any
• Work with HR and maintain PAPER DOCS for employees
• Insurance policies renewal (Medical, Workers’ Comp, Cargo, AR etc.)
• Process REFUND requests to resellers
• Bank Reconciliation
• Preparation, file & pay quarterly State Corporation Business Tax, State Sales Tax Returns for 2 states
• Preparation and assist CPA for corporation tax return and quarterly estimate tax
• Fill in were needed in department-AR - AP - banking-RMA credits and Activities
  
  

Education and Experience:

• Accounting Degree - Bachelor's or higher
• Proven Knowledge of customer service principles and practices & sales procedures
• Similar or Equal product knowledge in the Technology Sector
