Job Summary
The Assistant Bank Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting the daily operations of the bank branch, ensuring exceptional customer experience, compliance with banking regulations, and the achievement of sales and operational goals. This role assists the Bank Manager in supervising team, managing financial transactions, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Branch Operations & Compliance
- Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to banking policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as internal bank policies.
- Monitor security measures and risk management practices to safeguard bank assets.
- Assist in audits, reporting, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Provide exceptional customer experience and resolve client inquiries.
- Assist customers with banking services, including accounts, loans, and treasury products.
- Promote bank products and services to enhance customer relationships and meet business objectives.
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, businesses, and the local community.
- Assist in implementing marketing and promotional campaigns to drive customer engagement.
Team Leadership & Staff Development
- Supervise, mentor, and train retail team to enhance performance and customer service skills.
- Assist in team scheduling, workload distribution, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive work culture by motivating employees and encouraging teamwork.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in banking
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations, policies, and financial products.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Full-time position. Must be available to work during the hours of M-F 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Closed on Saturday. 40 hours per week
