Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Station Manager to oversee the daily operations of our broadcasting station. This position is a commission based pay for 8 months.
Duties
- Manage the overall operations of the station, including programming, production, and staff management.
- Collaborate with journalists and content creators to develop engaging news stories and programs.
- Oversee post-production processes, ensuring timely editing and quality control of all broadcasts.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite tools, particularly Adobe Premiere, for video editing and production tasks.
- Implement social media management strategies to enhance audience engagement and promote station content.
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative environment.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain high ethical standards in all broadcasting activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in journalism or media management is essential.
- Proficiency in technical writing and the ability to edit content for clarity and accuracy.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, especially in video editing using Adobe Premiere.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey ideas and directives to team members.
- Experience in social media management is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of audience engagement strategies.
