What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN/RN Home Health Nurse - Night Shift (9pm-5am) - Gtube position at 1st Americare INC?
1st Americare is seeking an LPN or RN to work with our client in the Haymarket location for a male client. Candidate with G-tube experience is preferred.
The schedule for this case will be:
- Monday to Sunday 9pm-5am
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust care plans accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on managing their conditions and promoting wellness
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
**Experience:**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
- Experience with tube feeding and managing enteral nutrition
-Experience with G tube
- Knowledge of acute pain management techniques
- Familiarity with family planning services and counseling
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
