Job Description: Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Location: Springfield, Virginia 22152
Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Pay Rate: Up to $17 per hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to assist a young adult client in their home. The PCA will support the client with specialized Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), ensuring their health, safety, and well-being during care.
Responsibilities:
Assist with g-tube feeding according to medical instructions.
Manage and administer medications as prescribed.
Provide walking assistance to promote mobility and safety.
Offer support with additional ADLs as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a PCA, caregiver, or in a similar role preferred.
Experience working with clients with autism highly preferred.
Experience with g-tube feeding and medication management is highly desired.
Ability to provide care in a gentle, professional, and respectful manner.
Reliable, punctual, and compassionate.
