Location: Jersey City, NJ
Schedule: Monday through Friday 3pm to 11pm
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one care for a patient in a home care setting located in Jersey City, NJ. This role requires specialized experience in tracheostomy (trach) and gastrostomy tube (gtube) care. Pediatric and home care experience are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to meet the patient’s medical and personal needs.
- Perform trach and gtube care with precision and expertise.
- Monitor the patient’s condition and respond promptly to changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate with family members and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN/RN license in New Jersey.
- Proven experience with trach and gtube care (required).
- Prior experience in home care (preferred).
- Pediatric nursing experience (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to the home care environment.
