Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one care for a patient in a home/school care setting located near Butler, NJ. This role requires specialized experience in G-J tube care. Home care experience is highly preferred.
This is a school-based nursing position where the nurse will begin their shift at the patient’s home (7am). From there, the nurse will accompany the patient on the school bus to the school. After school, the nurse will travel back to the patient's home via school bus to complete the remainder of their shift at the patient’s residence (3pm).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to meet the patient’s medical and personal needs.
- Perform trach and g - j tube care with precision and expertise.
- Monitor the patient’s condition and respond promptly to changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate with family members and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN/LPN license in New Jersey.
- Proven experience with g- j tube care (required).
- Prior experience in home care (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to the home care environment.
- Experience with patients who suffer from seizures highly preferred.
