Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing nursing operations within a healthcare facility. Duties
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to promote professional development and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Oversee patient care activities, ensuring compliance with medical protocols and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage utilization management processes to optimize resource allocation and patient outcomes.
- Conduct training sessions on medical terminology, medication administration, and specimen collection processing.
- Provide direct patient care as needed, including suture procedures and infant care.
- Ensure that the facility meets regulatory requirements and maintains accreditation standards.
- Address any issues related to behavioral health and coordinate appropriate interventions.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with relevant clinical experience.
- Strong knowledge of family planning, emergency medicine, and behavioral health practices.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and utilization management principles.
- Experience with specimen collection processing and medication administration.
