We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct industrial cleaning duties in warehouses and manufacturing facilities as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Carry out custodial duties such as emptying trash bins, sanitizing surfaces, and replenishing supplies.
- Execute floor care tasks including buffing and waxing to maintain the appearance of various flooring types.
- Assist with residential painting projects when required to enhance facility aesthetics.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management promptly.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of floor care procedures such as buffing and waxing is desirable.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean environment for residents and visitors alike.
